In this highly visible lead role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food contract operations. As the General Manager you will need to high strong communication skills with both the staff and our clients.This account has no retail operations and is utilizing the standard patient tray line operations with a Cook/Chill meal delivery system. In this role we would like someone with previous experience in Health-care. A CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) is a plus!! Responsibilities will include: - working with unit financial/budgets,- strategic planning,- HR functions,- training and development of both a management and hourly staff,- ensuring HACCP compliance,- direct client interaction and supervision of 7 Sodexo managers and 75 union hourly associates. The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years lead food management experience in a health-care environment, a solid financial acumen, the ability to develop and engage both a management and hourly staff, a strong working knowledge of food operations in a health-care setting as well as excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills. Prior experience managing a union workforce would be a plus.
