Driving time from Louisville, Kentucky; Knoxville, Tennessee; or Cincinnati, Ohio is about two hours. Commercial airline service is available in Lexington. Account has retail, resident dining, catering and conferences. This position will manage all catering and conference business. Berea is a "work" institution and the employee base is mostly students. Catering takes place both on and off campus, college events as well as private parties. Events can be a small coffee break or a large outdoor picnic for 1000+. The college president entertains frequently, with high level events from small to large. The summer conference business is steady. Non-union. Supervises two employees. Assists with other duties outside of catering responsibilities including maintaining company van, inspections, performs weekly/monthly inspections; assists with retail/cafeteria when necessary; works with clients directly.
