This position will work virtually in a home-based office.  Ideal candidates will reside within the United States. This position requires the successful candidate is fluent in French.  The Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for leading, prioritizing, and executing administrative processes integral to the NorAM Human Resource Service and Solutions organization.  This position will involve selected analysis, reporting and project management for key HR initiative and programs.  Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversee all administrative activities across the business as contact person/gate keeper between management, the wider team and external partners/clients- Actively drive assigned initiatives and enable successful deployment of programs and policies.- Liaise with executives and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and make recommendations/decisions;- Manage design and output of materials, aligned with team meetings, annual events and customer events.- Effectively partner with assigned external vendors to ensure invoicing and payments are streamlined.- Establish partnerships with a wide network of colleagues to ensure implementation of best practices and the optimal use of resources. Build productive relationships at all levels and in all parts of the HR functions.- Support for live and virtual meetings as needed (onsite - hotel reservations, meeting room reservations, planning for group meals, room setup, distribution of items, A/V needs, etc. virtual - helping to set up team calls, registrations, etc.) - Manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.- Collaborate and work well in a team environment when supporting assigned projects and manage expectations. The successful candidate will have:- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience- Fluent in French (oral & written) - Proven track record experience managing various size and complexity HR related projects- Experience supporting C-Level suites/ VP level leadership - Ability to think ahead, anticipate to prioritize and plan activities - Proactive skills to manage deliverables in a virtual environment - Resilience - strong ability to work with ambiguity and changing set of circumstances and issues - Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take independent action where necessary- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually and with others- Strong time management skills and ability to effectively resolve problems- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & Power-Point and Smart Sheet   At Sodexo, we believe every employee should have the resources to be their best.
