Sodexo Senior Living is looking for a dynamic and energetic GM/Chef Manager  to join our team at The Ivy of McKinney.  This location is a Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care facility with approximately 64 residents.  The current food landscape consists of 2 kitchens, 2 dining rooms and catering operations.    The ideal GM/Chef Manager will be the number 1 for the operation in addition to be the chef for the location.  This position represent a 80/20 split with a 80% of the role focused on culinary.  The GM/Chef Manager will responsible for financial reporting and the client relationship. Ability to multitask and deliver high end experience every day. Other duties include but not limited to: - Menu planning- Ordering- Inventory- Managing a team of 4 hourly employees- HR related duties- Marketing initiatives- Safety and Sanitation A strong focus on customer service, culinary expertise, and attention to detail are key in our selection process.  Computer skills and basic accounting skills are required. Able to make business decisions that allow the unit to meet goals.
