We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to join a dedicated team of Cloud Architects within the North American (NORAM) Team.- Architect, design, develop, and troubleshoot cloud solutions across a hybrid cloud platform- Work closely with the Global Teams (Infrastructure, Security, Network, Enterprise, Application & Data) to ensure the platform/product designed and deployed are secure and compliant with Sodexo Standards and global cloud program strategy.- Effectively Interface with Application Sponsors and Owners at varying organizational levelsThis is a Remote Role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern Standard Time Zone The successful candidate will:- Have a deep understanding of Azure's data services and technologies and be able to design and implement highly scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions.- Design, build, and manage data warehousing and big data solutions using analytics services.- Have a familiarity with data integration pipelines that move and transform data from various sources to destinations.- Have knowledge in how to manage and store massive amounts of unstructured and structured data.- Check and analyze the technical impacts of new solutions and their integration within the existing ecosystem.- Design the technical architecture with a focus on user experience, scalability, standardization, costs, and security- Accurately scope multiple concurrent project requirements and meet delivery timelines.- Understand delivery requirements, identify process and knowledge gaps and work to bridge them.- Clearly understand business and technology dependencies and collaboratively works with cross-functional teams to assist in delivering solutions in a timely manner- Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams- For all new projects or technologies, participate in the impact assessment on existing or planned infrastructure.- Recommend technical solutions based on Sodexo Global Standards to maintain consistency throughout this period of change.- Advise on the use and possible implementations of Cloud Platforms within the Sodexo ecosystem.- Manage architectural choices and orientations while keeping alignment with the Global standards.- Have a strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (servers, Virtualization, storage, network data, and applications) to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.- Have knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.- Interact with the entire ecosystem of the Cloud Competency Centers cross Regions.- Work in team with architects from other fields (Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Security Architects, Network Architects, Application Architects)- Manage partner relationships and development efforts across multiple teams and areas of responsibility.- Promote the architectural standards defined by the Global Cloud Competency Center and ensure alignment with Global Enterprise Architecture guidance & principlesIs this the right opportunity for you?  We are looking for candidates who have/are:- Required skills in Cloud Architecture around Azure (Ability to design and implement cloud infrastructure, platforms, and applications) - Minimum Azure architect certification - AZ 305 or equivalent: Microsoft Certified Azure solutions Architect - 5 years’ experience in Azure architecture role - 10 years’ experience in architecture role including data center technologies - Experience working with Azure DevOps in Scrum or Agile methodology- Azure technologies that you should be familiar with: Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage, Databases, Azure PaaS Services, Azure PaaS Data related resources (i.e. Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Machine Learning), and Azure DevOps- Knowledge of various complex IT ecosystems in addition to cloud architecture- Knowledge of IT Management (ITIL) processes- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Knowledge of  how to solve problems (Being able to correctly analyze problems, have intelligent communication with colleagues and lead to a quick conclusion)- A sense of Flexibility (flexible to new technologies, and have the ability to capture them quickly)Sodexo offers a full array of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K and access to ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness programs.  Not the job for you?
