A state-of-the-art commissary kitchen, the Culinary & Nutrition Center (CNC), began operations in April 2019 with the goal of increasing quality, local purchasing, process improvement and operational excellence. The CNC turns fresh items into scratch made baked goods, entrees, side dishes, sauces, etc. for distribution to students at district schools. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader who aligns with and drives our partner’s mission, “To eliminate student hunger by increasing the quality, sustainability, and efficiency of the child nutritional programs in our schools and community.” The manager provides strategic and business planning management and directs all operational functions in compliance with USDA and NSLP regulations. In addition, this Executive Director of Operations will improve food quality served to students, increase student participation in food programs and increase student-learning opportunities as it pertains to the child nutrition program.
