Sodexo is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Corporate Services-Legal Department This position will be based out of HQ in Gaithersburg MD- Supporting two Senior Contracts Administrators on the team, this position will be responsible for the following: - High volume word processing, including typing correspondence, handwritten material, in-house memoranda, agreements, contracts, termination and other legal documents. - The ideal candidate will have the following preferred skillset / background: - Answering telephones providing proactive assistance; taking messages and screening calls in manager’s absence; referring calls to other appropriate parties for handling.- Transcribing tapes and formatting correspondence and legal documents using Microsoft Word software. - Preparing rough drafts of routine correspondence for director/department review.- Proofreading documents prepared both in-house and in other offices.- Photocopying correspondence, documentation from permanent document files and other information. - Submitting documents to Permanent Document and correspondence sections via Records Department.- Scheduling meetings and reserving conference rooms.- Interfacing with field and operations personnel and administrative staffs. - Ability to accurately transcribe, edit and proof documents. - Associates degree or comparable experience preferred.- Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet varied deadlines. Position requires individual to be very organized- Knowledge of intermediate functions of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Must possess ability to make and build relationships- Skills that enable him/her to represent the department and manager in a professional manner. The successful candidate will:- have experience with SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;- demonstrate strong attention to detail; - work as a team player and can work independently; and/or- demonstrate the initiative to seek solutions, resolve issues and have a hunger to grow and develop in this role. - Have excellent writing skillsIs this opportunity right for you? Sodexo's School Services Division is seeking an Area General Manager in the Dallas Fort Worth Area responsible for three school districts in an expanded leadership role. Our dynamic leader will be based at Ennis Independent School District and also oversee Greenville Independent School District and Carthage Independent School District as support for the area. The Area General Manager will directly be responsible for nutrition, safety, marketing, financial reporting and superior customer service.  The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of proven leadership in a K-12 setting under USDA - National School Lunch Program guidelines.  Strong business accumen, operational and program standards knowledge along with exceptional client relations a must.  The position will support other General Manager's in the region and assist the District Manager as assigned.  Candidate must be highly organized with exceptional financial management, communication and technical skills and be able to drive customer participation.  Must be able to build strong relationship with client, provide creative and innovative food service options.  Experience managing a union staff in a food service environment highly desired. The Area Manager is responsible for leading and supporting current partnerships and potential new partnerships.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple food locations in education with Sodexo preferred.  This position will report directly to District Manager working a full-year. USDA requires a minimum of an Bachelor's degree with 4 years of school nutrition experience. The successful candidate will: - Have oversight of day-to-day operations- Deliver high quality food service- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals - Develop and maintain client and customer relationships- Develop strategic plans- Create a positive environment- Ensure Sodexo standards are met Is this opportunity right for you?
