Position requires leadership, culinary and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will:- work with Cooks to ensure consistent recipe compliance;- assist in completing weekly department inventory;- work with Cooks to taste and understand flavor profiling;- ensure that all safety policies are in place and being followed and that all staff is wearing the correct PPE;- work with culinary staff and FOH staff on customer service around special requests, allergens, and food interactions;- create schedule for department;- responsible for summiting invoice payments; and/or- responsible for staff training on Safety and Food Safety practices.Actions may include time management so that residents receive their meals at the same time, assigning tasks as orders come in, inspecting the presentation before meals/ food are delivered, determining the break schedule so that the department always remains sufficiently staffed, and monitoring the workstations of the BOH & FOH team for cleanliness.This role will report to the Area General Manager and will work shifts that include some weekends and holidays.Learn more about Sodexo’s Benefits Not the job for you?
