Maintain an adequate supply of specific and common spare parts to reduce equipment downtime.  When appropriate, third party sources or OEM vendors will be used to gain cost savings. Provide consultation, information, training, and support to hospital staff and physicians in evaluating new or proposed Diagnostic Imaging and related systems. Function as the liaison between the manufacturer and the hospital personnel regarding equipment quality and standards before and after purchase. Maintain current knowledge of new instrumentation and state of the art technology through publications, continuing education (seminars, classes, and trade shows) and contact with manufacturers. Participated in the department on-call rotation. Returns call within 15 minutes of being called.  Must report to work within 60 minutes of being called. Provide technical support (via telephone or on-site) to other engineers. If you are a Strategic Facilities Planner/Scheduler with the ability to develop innovative technical solutions while successfully managing key performance indicators to drive strong business results, this may be the opportunity for you! Job Essential Functions:- Maintenance Planner will plan and schedule available resources and materials for maintenance activities associated with preventative and corrective maintenance in the most effective and efficient way.- Develop the detail work scope and setup forecasts for resource allocation to ensure preventative and corrective work activities are completed in conjunction with manufacturing operations activities.- Is responsible for overseeing work order activity compliance with regulatory requirements (i.e. FDA, DEA, OSHA).- Improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, tools, and equipment, required permits, specialized documentation and equipment access.- Compiles and maintains the master PM schedule to establish a sequence and lead time of each operation to meet scheduling dates according to production forecast or machine specific needs- Accurate coordination between the various maintenance groups and facility supervisors/managers. Required Education:- Associate degree or equivalent from 2-year college technical school preferred- In lieu of degree, Technical College diploma with 10+ years of experience required or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.- Experience in manufacturing or maintenance environment, required.  Required Experience:- 10+ years of experience in the Utilities-maintenance related fields.- Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Food and Beverage, and Healthcare Industries is highly preferred- Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and related systems/software’s- Strong knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, resource balancing, etc.- Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O&M (Operation & Maintenance) requirements- Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures and working knowledge of cGMPs- Good organization skills.
