Conveniently located off of I-95, this position will oversee Linen Distribution and Environmental Services employees.  Strongly prefer candidate to have previous ES and Linen Distribution experience. This role will oversee a team of 30 on Day Shift.  This facility is a non-union environment. Environmental Services/ Laundry background is preferred with leading, developing and transitioning a team. This position is reports directly to the Sodexo General Manager.   The ideal candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes including SMS, UOS, Gold Check, and Black Light inspections. High energy for fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. This is a 7a.m. - 4pm. starting shift opportunity that may require other shifts when needed. Typical work week is Monday- Friday. The ES/Laundry Production  Manager will be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends. This position will be responsible for customer and client interaction, housekeeping operating levels, on-going training, quality, safety, and the implementation of best practices. The system additionally offers a college with studies in nursing and allied health, a graduate residency program, and access to virtual care through a mobile app. This positions will oversee housekeeping frontline staff and operations at this 49 bed hospital on Day Shift overseeing a team of 10. Our Sodexo Healthcare Environmental Services/Housekeeping teams work to direct housekeeping operations at healthcare client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of hospital staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction. We are looking for candidates who:- have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare housekeeping system;- have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred; - possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;- can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management;- have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;- are results and safety driven; - have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;- have experience with vendor and contract management, as well as union and contract negotiations;- have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;- have 1-3 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience., in a hospital, healthcare experience preferred but not required;- have strong financial acumen and budget management experience; - can multi-task and set priorities; and/or- are proficient with computers and other technology. Employees who work in Healthcare and Seniors are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a term and condition of employment, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and upload proof of vaccination via an online portal. Learn more about Baptist Health at https://www.baptist-health.com/Learn more about Sodexo’s Benefits Not the job for you?
