Sodexo is seeking a Custodial / Environmental Services Operations Manager 3 to assist managing the Environmental Services Dept and oversee on-site training programs at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center in LA. This facility is home to both educational and scientific programs in Health Sciences and is a 520 bed facility with over 1M in cleanable sq ft. This is a Day Shift weekends and Holidays may be required. Relocation is not offered at this time. This position will be responsible for customer and client interaction, custodial inspection measurements, custodial operating levels, on-going training, quality, safety, pest control and the implementation of best practices. Will also be responsible for compliance, improved services, and timeliness of responses and validation of work quality. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Hospital environment, manage training programs, strong client/employee relationship-building skills and possess the ability to manage direct reports in multiple locations on the campus, and handle multiple priorities, quickly grasp situations and logically progress through solutions. Must be able to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of Environmental Services operations in the Health-care as an Manager, Sodexo programs and systems (TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Checks, etc) as well as customer and employee relationship skills. Strong project management, analytical, communications and computer (Excel, Word and Power-Point) skills are needed for this role in conjunction with a comprehensive understanding of Sodexo’s corporate and CARES cultures. The candidate must be/have:- Flexible and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Customer focused to enhance or improve the experience of the staff and patients.- Create and drive Training Programs - Actively involved in Diversity Awareness.- Able to lead and strong communication skills.- Results and safety driven.- Prior high level ES ops manager required- Bilingual is a plus but not required- Must have prior contractor experience with proven track record in health care ES. Required: Good working knowledge of state & federal employment law; solid computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; good communication and presentation skills; detailed oriented, and well organized.
