It will provide technical support for cosmetic raw material and finished product analysis and characterization through the design and utilization of analytical methods. Job SummarySodexo is seeking an individual to complete preservation challenge testing with Unilever methodology on personal care products such as shampoos, body wash, and skin care formulations. Additionally, performs any supplemental testing to support innovation launches, such as total viable counts and preservative neutralization testing. Compiles and enters test data in LIMS system and prepares a report summary of the results for the final release of the data. Key Responsibilities:- Maintains laboratory bench in a clean and orderly condition to ensure a clean and safe work environment- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and proficient in written and spoken English- Completes preservative challenge testing on lab, pilot, and factory scale sample submissions- Completes required raw material testing for new ingredients and/or significantly changed ingredients going into products and assesses microbial risk (i.e., high, medium, low)- Completes water activity measurements on final formulations and ingredients- Prepares media for testing- Supports preparation of an inoculate for preservative challenge testing- Responsible for ordering laboratory supplies associated with projects- Maintains laboratory bench in clean and orderly conditions- Periodically checks laboratory reagents and media to ensure materials are within expiration dates- Communicates effectively when issues with project submissions and test results.Is this opportunity right for you?
